A multi-channel recruitment campaign designed to inspire future engineers and increase freshman engagement with Utah State University’s College of Engineering.
This project marked the launch of the College of Engineering’s first comprehensive recruitment campaign aimed at prospective students. As part of the design team, I helped develop a cohesive visual system centered around the theme of “engineering vision.” The campaign included a custom mailer box sent to prospective students, featuring a printed vision board with original illustrations alongside branded swag such as stickers, postcards with freshman information, sunglasses, and beanies.
In addition to the physical mailer, we expanded the campaign digitally through a social media video series featuring engineering ambassadors from different programs sharing their personal “engineering visions.” I created motion graphics to support the videos and reinforce the campaign’s visual identity across platforms.
The campaign was both creatively rewarding and highly impactful. It contributed to a 5% increase in recruitment event attendance, the largest growth among all colleges at Utah State University that year. Seeing the project translate into tangible results for the college made it an especially meaningful experience.
